Description

Anyway... I haven't really played Pokémon since yellow. I can't even remember the name of the newer one I bought back last year, but I wanted to do a fan-art of a situation I just kind of stumbled upon that I didn't really understand. I found a picture of Phoebe with all these ghosts and thought "What's up with this woman? Why is she wearing that kind of Hawaiian theme and she's not using water pokémon?"

So yeah... there we are then...

I'm somewhat offended at the remark of Hawaiian being always associated with water. I can see why ghost, possibly because of the powerful spirit in the land of Hawaii. There are many haunted places, the spirits of Hawaiian ancestors, hell, the Nightmarchers are still around and they've been here nearly since the Hawaiians first happened upon the islands. Try finding the book called "Obake Files". People who believe in the culture believe that there is spirit in nearly every thing, even inanimate objects such as plants, trees, rocks and even wind, rain, clouds, and the like. When you take things that do not belong to you, like rocks or even leaves and twigs, the spirits of those things will cause you trouble until it is returned to its rightful place. Don't believe me? Call the Big Island Hawaii National Volcano park and ask them about the cases of rocks and leaves they receive from around the world.

Well. That's my two cents. Give or take.
